Picocon 35 is, as the name would suggest, the 35th iteration of Imperial College Science Fiction’s annual one-day convention in London.
The primarily literary convention has in previous years hosted Terry Pratchett (1988 and 1989), Alastair Reynolds (2009) and Peter F. Hamilton (2013). Further information on this year’s Guests of Honour will be released as the time draws closer, so watch this space!
As a student run convention, money from ticket and merchandise sales goes towards maintaining and expanding our well-loved library, which contains well over 9000 books, spanning genres from science fiction to gothic horror and fantasy. We also run a collection and several events in aid of the Student Union’s Raising and Giving (RAG) scheme – this amounted to approximately £490 in charitable donations during last year’s event.
Tickets are not yet on sale, but are expected to follow the price structure from previous years, which is available on the website below.
