Enjoy family time at MoMI this holiday season with daily matinees of The LEGO Batman Movie and drop-in Superhero-themed artmaking workshops inspired by the film, featuring activities such as designing your very own superhero costumes and masks, making animations, and more!

The LEGO Batman Movie
Recommended for ages 7 and up
Dir. Chris McKay. 2017, 104 mins. DCP. Featuring the voices of Will Arnett, Michael Cera, Rosario Dawson, Ralph Fiennes. Batman must face the villains of Gotham City again, but this time with his new sidekick Robin and fellow caped-crusader Batgirl, along with his ally Commissioner Barbara Gordon. This lively animated movie combines our favorite Gotham City characters with the LEGO toy universe, for hilarious superhero fun.

Superhero-themed Moving Image Studio
Recommended for ages 4 and up.
Create your own superhero world during winter recess with the Museum’s drop-in art making workshops for families. Activities include making one’s own LEGO animations and superhero masks, and designing superhero costumes. Free with Museum admission no reservations necessary.
Tickets for screenings are $15 adults / $11 seniors and students / $7 youth (ages 3–17) / Free for Museum members at the Film Lover and MoMI Kids Premium levels and above). Ticket purchase includes Museum admission and entry to the workshop.
