A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…our origin story began…
Nerd Out has been on the market since early August 2015. The brainchild of Michelle L. Jensen. Nerd Out was born out of frustration. Having previously been a blogger about nerdy and geeky things, thru that she discovered the enormous fandom community. However, the information for nerd based events was scattered across the web, making it difficult for nerds to find. Frustrated with this lack of organization, she built a place for it all to live, the Nerd Out calendar.
The Nerd Out Team Members
Our Team has been essential to our success. Our very own Quidditch team, Scooby Gang, Clone Club, Companions…you name it! They are it! We are appreciative of all that have taken the time to help build this fabulous community! To the volunteers, a grand thank you to you, lovely people who have donated your precious time! To those who have submitted events and helped spread the word to the world, YOU are Team Nerd Out!
FOUNDER & CEO
Michelle L. Jensen, is a blogger, fangirl, and most importantly, a nerd. Her first love was Disney, but her first official fandom was Buffy. From there she went on to be a Whovian, Sherlockian, Clone Club-er, Thrones, and adds more all the time! Originally from Long Island, NY. She now resides in Los Angeles.
Danielle Knapp is a nurse, blogger, cat lover, and, of course, a nerd. Disney was her 1st love, and as she still lives in Orlando, FL, you can often find her and her family somewhere at Walt Disney World. She blogs on her site, From Girlie to Nerdy, and when not writing about her fandom loves, she’s trying to plan epic adventures to see just where her favorite shows and movies really take place.
Amanda Leigh Corbett is an actress, artist, and nerd. When she isn’t writing, drawing, crafting, or busy performing, you can probably find her cuddled up with a book from the Harry Potter series, re-watching an episode Lost Girl, or geeking-out about something happening in Clone Club! She lives in the D.C. metro area with her family and three dogs.
